Soft Sensory Jar

Soft Sensory Jar

Toddlers love to touch and this sensory bucket couldn’t get any easier.

Simply take your old fabric scraps, feathers, pom-poms, pipe-cleaners, carpet pieces, scarves, yarn, ribbon, etc. – anything soft – and throw them into a bucket for play!

Rainbow Soft Bucket

We tossed ours in the air and watched it float to the floor, talked about the silky and squishy textures, sorted the colors, and transferred the scraps from one bucket to another.

Soft Sensory Play

Why are the smallest things the biggest hits? No complaints here. Happy soft sensory hunting!

Check out our other sensory projects like the gel bag, sensory bottles, noodle tub, shaving play, flour writing, and more!
