Natures Scavenger Hunt

Kids love nothing more than playing games and hunting around for hidden objects but we don’t have to limit it to Easter, Christmas, and birthdays! Scavenger hunts are fun any time of the year. In this activity, I have created a hunt list and some fun things to search for while looking around the yard. There’s really no set up needed for this which makes it really easy for those of you on a time crunch.

We collected hard and soft objects while on our hunt that were neat to look at and play with. After we went back inside, we created two different sensory bins with the objects. Instructions for those can be found below:

It was such a fun day of exploring and we used our green crayon (very nature friendly – haha) to check off all the things on our list! Who knew there was so much to see in your own backyard?
