Are you ready for a super short DIY tutorial that will impress your kids, help you recycle, and look freaking adorable? Well you’re in the right place. We’ve got this awesome little DIY Flower Pot Whale to perk up your ocean week, use as a toy, or set on the shelf in your nautical nursery.
Here we go.
I found small plastic flower pots at the dollar store and spray painted them with two shades of blue. I recommend giving them a light sanding prior to painting for bonding purposes.
Take your cupcake liner and cut it into this shape:
Glue your liner to the open end of your flower pot.
Add googly eyes with hot glue.
Take a silver or white pipe-cleaner and fold it in a way that represents water shooting out of the blow-hole. Glue it to the top of your flower pot.
Let dry and enjoy!
That was like our shortest blog post….ever.
